What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website is run by Aurora Consulting (Yorkshire) Limited, trading as Richie’s Collagen. We are the controller of your personal information.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address, delivery address and phone number if you give one, when you order or create an account.
  • Your dog’s name and the photo you upload, so that we can print your pack.
  • Your order history and your subscription details.
  • Messages you send us by email.
  • Questions you type into the assistant on this site, if you use it.
  • Technical information needed to run the shop, such as the basket cookie that remembers what you have added.

We do not collect or store your full card details. Payments are handled by our payment providers, who send us only a confirmation and the last digits of the card.

Why we use it

  • To make, personalise and deliver your order, and to run your subscription. This is necessary for our contract with you.
  • To answer your questions and deal with problems. This is necessary for our contract with you and is in our legitimate interests.
  • To keep records for tax and accounting. This is a legal obligation.
  • To send you news and offers, only if you have asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with:

  • our payment providers, to take payment;
  • our delivery partners, to deliver your pack;
  • our website host and email provider, to run the site and send order emails;
  • the provider that powers the automated assistant on this site. Depending on how it is set up this is Anthropic, or OpenRouter, which passes the question to the model provider we have chosen. If you use the assistant, the text you type is sent to them to produce the answer. Please do not type card numbers or passwords into the assistant.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

The photo of your dog

The photo you upload is stored privately and is used only to print your pack and to help with questions about your order. It is not published and it is not used for marketing unless you give us permission.

How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: 6 years after the order, for tax.
  • Your account, your dog’s name and photo: for as long as your account is open. Ask us and we will delete the photo sooner.
  • Emails and assistant questions: up to 12 months.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work, such as the basket and login cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email richiescollagen@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and change the date below.
